Gwen Stefani has announced that her solo career is over, saying that it was a phase that has now run it's course.
Stefani told Entertainment Weekly that she expected it to come to an end at point. "That was a moment in time. It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you're at in that time in your life... [But] everything works out how it should."
Gwen's solo career saw her collaborate with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Damian Marley and Akon. Since her last single in 2008, Gwen has been busy playing Mum to Kingston and Zuma with husband Gavin Rossdale.
actually She is working again with her band "no doubt"and the new album is almost ready.
